At MCHPP, we believe it is extremely important to pass our history down to younger generations through interactive materials, educational videos, lesson resources, partnerships and much more to help our educators teach our history. Partnerships

All educational materials provided through the MCHPP Educator Portal are aligned with Tennessee Academic Standards for Social Studies and are designed to support classroom instruction at multiple grade levels.

Our resources emphasize local history — helping students understand how statewide and national events shaped Macon County and how local people and places contributed to Tennessee’s story.

We work with local educators, schools, and community organizations to develop meaningful local history resources. If your school or district is interested in collaborating, we’d love to hear from you.

MCHPP educational resources are suitable for classroom instruction, enrichment activities, independent learning, and community education programs.
